Some exciting changes happening here at LOC Hire for 2023.
As most of you will know, after 8 years running LOC Hire and turning it into one of the UK’s most successful welfare hire companies, about a year ago I launched a new venture called ECOHire. This sister business to LOC Hire was, as the name suggests, set up to hire out solely the most eco-friendly sustainable welfare products on the market.
The response to our solar-powered ECOHire welfare cabins has been phenomenal and the business is growing rapidly. Due to this fast expansion, I will be shifting more of my focus onto ECOHire over the coming year and will be handing over the day-to-day running of LOC Hire to my extremely capable Deputy MD Mark McGuffog, who will be stepping into the Managing Director’s role. Mark has a strong operations and logistical background both in the military and in the retail sector and has already proved invaluable to the business in his current role.
I will be retaining a very strong interest in LOC Hire, remaining as owner and taking on the role of CEO, and I am still very much here for all our customers whenever you need me – please don’t hesitate to pick up the phone!
LOC Hire remains as committed as ever to providing you with the highest quality welfare products and service and I am completely confident that under Mark’s direction, the business will continue to go from strength to strength. We look forward to continuing to serve you in the following areas.
We have the widest and most versatile range of towable welfare products available on the market today and pride ourselves that our service is second to none.
Our Events business has seen significant growth this year and we have supported a wide range of events including music festivals, food markets, sporting events, TV & Film production, outdoor cinemas, weddings and community events.
In 2022 we invested in the sleep accommodation sector purchasing a fleet of 2-berth luxury sleeper pods which have been flying out for long and short term hire on construction sites, remote areas, emergency accommodation and other applications.
Next year, we will be expanding our fleet to meet increasing demand.
This has proved very popular again in 2022 in both the hire and sales sector and we will be investing in more modular hire options for 2023.
Modular buildings provide a highly flexible solution for on-site accommodation.
